In haste and so so hectic

I am so sorry for my avid blog-watchers that there has been so little activity on these pages. All will improve in five days when you can prepare to be deluged.

We have had an unbelievable time - twelve days in Tehran teaching (read about it in Quilter's Companion), followed immediately by meeting our son Sam in Columbo and a whirlwind seven day tour of Sri Lanka. We arrived home at night the day before yesterday, and the taxi is now at the door to take Sam and I to Damascus.

Sam has managed to update his blog more often than I have - so click the link at the side to see that to catch up if you are interested.

I have more than one thousand photos - you can be worried!!!

Hi Jenny:

Good to get caught up and to hear of Sam's travels. After all the travelling, is it good to be back home in Cairo?

All going well here: Mr. W. en route to NY to report to Secco.... Will be there for a week and then is hoping to get a week off later this month to spend some time with me! It would be nice ....

Love to y'all Tena

Hi Jenny,

I was getting worried about you and here you were gallivanting around the countryside. August in Canberra was just beautiful. The nights were cold but the days were brilliant. However since the 1st day of spring it hasn't been too crash hot. looking forward to seeing your images and now I'm about to have a look at Sam's blogspot.
Regards Helen

Hi Jenny,

Haven't had time to catch up with you for a while - too much happening at school, but then you've been gallivanting around Oz anyhow. Read Sam's blog - obviously inherited writing talent there

Cheers
